SOLD : Handwoven and handspun pinwheel cushion in British lambswool, beautiful silvery grey and pinks sunset tweedy colours. Natural 100% Irish linen backing. YKK zip fastener. Microfibre cushion inner.
British lambswool sourced from small specialist wool mills, celebrating traditional British craftsmanship.
Using end of rolls of designer linen fabrics. Zero waste.
Sustainable and biodegradable.
Slow artisan textiles, handwoven with a contemporary twist. One of a kind.
Approx 40 x 35cm or 16 x 14 inches.
Handwoven by me on my large floor loom, and handmade in my studio overlooking Dartmoor.
Washing instructions :
Hand wash only in hand hot water and gentle soap or detergent, without agitation. Leave to soak then gently lift out. Rinse in similar warm temperature water, as going from hot to cold can cause the wool to felt or shrink. A gentle spin cycle in the washing machine helps to remove excess water, taking care not to use the rinse cycle as it’s too vigorous. Dry flat or hang to dry away from direct heat.
Steam or steam press if needed.
WildMoor
