Both cushions handwoven with British lambswool sourced from a small specialist wool mill, celebrating traditional British craftsmanship.
Using offcuts of designer fabrics. Zero waste.
Approx 45 x 32cm or 18 x 13 inches.
Handwoven by me on my large floor loom, and handmade in my studio overlooking Dartmoor.
Washing instructions :
Hand wash only in hand hot water and gentle soap or detergent, without agitation. Leave to soak then gently lift out. Rinse in similar warm temperature water, as going from hot to cold can cause the wool to felt or shrink. A gentle spin cycle in the washing machine helps to remove excess water, taking care not to use the rinse cycle as it’s too vigorous. Dry flat or hang to dry away from direct heat.
Steam or steam press if needed.
Slow textiles, hand spun, hand dyed and handwoven wool and natural fibres. Made by hand. Contemporary artisan textiles.
Biodegradable. Zero waste.
Inspired by endless horizons across the wild moor, river and the open sea.... handspun and handwoven pieces evoke the changing colours and moods of ancient Dartmoor.
